The goal was to never optimize our bodies into something society could tolerate.
The goal was to come home to it.
What if you haven’t failed at wellness, but instead admitted that wellness has failed you.
All your mysterious symptoms, no one has linked together to form a diagnosis, until they can sell you a prescription for…that’s your body speaking a language no one taught you to hear. I help women stop fighting their nervous systems and start working with them, finally.
I moved my body constantly, lifted heavy weights, tracked every calorie and macro. And I was exhausted in a way no workout, no planner, no self-optimization or work-life balance could fix.
Then my body waved red flag after red flag, and I did what any good girl does: I tried to fix it.
Another protocol. Another approach. More discipline. More effort.
What I eventually learned was that fixing was the problem. That my nervous system — cyclical, relational, systemically stretched — wasn’t malfunctioning. She was responding, perfectly, to an impossible load.
The shift came when I studied with Veronica Rottman. Through her, I found somatic work, and it felt like everything I’d studied for years (mindfulness, wellness coaching, functional health) clicked into place. Not a cure but as context. As permission to stop fighting my body and start listening to it.
What I learned: The body was never a problem to solve.
The female nervous system is not a smaller male one. It’s cyclical, relational, and shaped by environments that have historically asked women to override it. What looks like dysfunction often makes complete sense once you understand the context.
Mindset work alone doesn’t move what lives in the body. You can think your way to new beliefs and still feel exactly the same. Somatic work goes where the thinking stops…into the patterns held in your tissue, your breath, your posture, your pause.
Tending is different from fixing. Fixing implies something is wrong. Tending implies something is alive, responsive, and worth caring for, which is exactly what your nervous system.. This distinction is foundational.
I spent 17 years teaching high school…
This work is for women who are intelligent, self-aware, and genuinely trying — who are tired of trying harder being the answer.
You’ve tried all the wellness approaches and you’re still exhausted in a way sleep isn’t fixing.
You feel like your body is working against you, but something in you suspects it might actually be trying to protect you.
You’re a teacher, caregiver, a person who holds a lot for other people, and you don’t know how to put it down.
Burnout isn’t a new word for you, it’s where you’re living.
You want to understand your cycle, your energy, your rhythms instead of override them.
You’ve heard “just slow down” no less than 473 times and want to scream because you don’t know how thats possible without everything falling apart around you
You’re not looking for a miracle or a total life overhaul but a way back to yourself that actually feels steady.
Start Here:
A 30 minute session designed to give you a real picture of where your nervous system is right now and what it’s actually asking for. Not what you think it should need but what it actually needs. This is the entry point. The beginning of listening instead of overriding.
You’re doing all the things…
and still running on empty.
